When you are done with an experiment you must take several actions to secure your data and to prepare for the closing of the account:
You must write your event data to tape
You must write your home directory data to tape
If you will be analyzing the data at the NSCL you must get a data analysis area in which to restore these tapes
You must read your event and home directory tapes into this analysis area so that you are sure the data was correctly written to tape
You must remove your event data from the data acquisition systems and inform the NSCL support staff that your stage area can be re-used.
