This program is a command line utility to load settings into an N568b shaper module connected to the system via a VME CAENnet controller. The configuration file describes the shaper connection and identification as well as settings the user wants to load into the shaper. Any settings not specified in the shaper module are not loaded. See the \fBn568configfile(5)\fR manpage for more information about creating configuration files.
Note that the N568b holds its settings in non-volatile memory. Therefore settings are retained across power cycles of its NIM bin.
