Objects of this type encapsulate a treevariable. Treevariables are objects that have a value and units of measure. The value is available to event processors and can be used in computing derived parameters.
SpecTcl does not suport dynamic treevariable creation. As such, spectcl.variable objects can only wrap existing tree variables.
